Blair (Governor 1957-1961). A second letter, on personal stationary, SIGNED by Gov.John B. Dalton (1961-1965). Plus two typed thank you letters, one on persoanl stationary and the second on Governor's stationary- both SIGNED by Warren E. Hearnes (Governor 1965-1973). SIGNED.

Octavo, 175pp. Cream cloth, title in black on spine, embossed illustration on front panel. In publishers dust jacket, fine condition. Inscribed by Missouri Governor Warren Hearnes to baseball great Stan Musial. Additional inscription on bookmark. Stan Musial was a Major League baseball player, playing first base and outfield for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1941-1963. He is considered one of the most reliable hitters in baseball history, being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969. During his tenure with the Cardinals, he was named the league MVP three times and helped lead the team to three World Series Pennants. In 2011, shortly before his death, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He passed away in 2013. Signed.
