Her primary ``admirers'' were ``middle-aged men and clergymen'' who ``respond to her dubious coquetry, to the sight of her well-shaped and desirable little body, packed with enormous vitality.'' The resulting lawsuit caused the demise of the periodical at Christmas 1937. When later Greene met Shirley Temple she told him she thought he was about right!
