Wecter prints three unpublished brief works by Twain, each with an essay by Twain. The contents of this slim pleasant volume include an overview of Twain's activities in the Far West. The pieces include (portions?) of his lecture on "Scenery" in the Far West [1868]; another droll discourse called "Roughing It" [1871]; and the third called "Roughing It on the Silver Frontier" [c.1873-74]. Booklet is tight, clean, bright. No foxing or notes by previous readers. Tattered edges on the glassine. McBRIDE p.292. BAL 3577. First Edition: 1 of 1200 Numbered Copies #222.
