The story of 4 men, including Don… Wiebert & his father Henry, re-riding the Custer trail June 22-25, 1985 from the Yellowstone River to the Little Big Horn Battlefield, 120 miles in three and one-half days on the exact same time schedule, by horseback on McClelland saddles, and carryig 1873 Springfield carbines. They even consumed the same food: hardtack, bacon, beans, jerky and coffee. Great read. Signed by author.
