The pages are clean, tight and unmarked. The unclipped dust jacket is in good condition with a few small chips. It is protected in a mylar cover. Jack…O'Brien (1898 - 1938), was a surveyor to the Byrd Antarctic expedition 1928-30, and often drove huskies on prospecting trips into Northern Canada. This is the debut story of Silver Chief, offspring of a husky and a wolf, found in the wild and befriended and tamed by Sergeant Jim Thorne of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
