Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. A handsome postwar Tin Pan Alley issue associated with Perry Como during his ascent as one of America's defining radio and recording vocalists of the late 1940s. The striking blue-and-silver Art Deco-influenced cover design, paired with Como's portrait, gives the piece strong display appeal. The rear advertisement panel promoting Santly-Joy song folios and Perry Como collections offers an excellent period snapshot of mid-century American popular music publishing. Songwriters Bennie Benjamin and George Weiss would later become especially influential figures in American songwriting, with Weiss eventually co-writing standards including 'What a Wonderful World.' Condition: Very Good. Moderate edge wear and age toning; light creasing and rubbing to wraps; small corner wear and mild handling marks consistent with use. Interior remains clean and highly presentable with no major tears, markings, or losses observed. Spine fold remains sound. A solid collector-grade example with attractive cover presentation. Edition/Printing: 1946 first edition sheet music issue, published by Santly-Joy, Inc., New York, with original Perry Como featured cover and period advertising retained on rear wrapper.
