For well over seventy years he was to be a keen follower of hounds on horseback, on foot or, in his later years, by car. Snaffles' hunting works include many of his best and most loved prints such as a personal favorite of ours: "The Finest View in Europe", "Paradise" and "Great Banks". Not only did he brilliantly depict hunting in England but much of his best work was done in the 30s in Ireland and India.
