Forward by the author, who is likely Johan Werfel (1764 - 1831), Danish author, translator and magazine publisher. 1/2 leather, very rubbed and worn boards. Minor warping to front board. Text is good. Very light bottom corner stains. Contemporary signature on inside front boa…rd. No endpapers. A few wormholes at heel (does not penetrate to text), indicate original leather spine which is in good condition. The text is loose but sound. 400 pages, complete. Very scarce.
