Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Two pages have a tiny crease at the tip of the top corner and the following three pages have a slight bend at the top corner. One page has a prick spot at the top corner that may have been created by a small paperclip. All pages are crisp, white and clean. No writing or underlining. The dark blue boards have a few small scratches and are lightly bumped on the edges. No jacket (as issued). The binding is straight and strong. Overall, a nice copy. James Hutchins (c. October 1810 - 1876) was an early convert to the Latter Day Saint movement who served as a missionary and member of the Nauvoo Quorum of the Seventy before affiliating with the Strangite branch of the church, where he became an apostle. His wife, Susan Caroline Beavers was thought to be of Cherokee descent. This 8-1/2" x 11" x 2" hardcover covers seven generations of the family up to 2006 when the book was published. At the end of the book, the autobiography by James Hutchins titled "An Outline Sketch of the Travels of James Hutchins, Written by Himself, Black River Falls, Wisc., 1871," is reprinted.
