Wexler's innovative, sustainable designs adapted to the desert climate made him a key figure in the postwar development of Palm Springs and in California modernism in general. With essays by Lauren Weiss Bricker and Sidney Williams and an interview with Donald Wexler. 4to (11.5" x 9.75"), photographic fold-over wrappers, 132 pages, b/w and color photographs, renderings, and diagrams throughout. With a project list and bibliography at the end. Very minor rubbing to the covers, otherwise near fine. A lovely copy of this surprisingly scarce work.
