Published in conjunction with an exhibition held from January 29-May 29, 2011 at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Wexler's innovative, sustainable designs adapted to the desert climate made him a key figure in the postwar development of Palm Springs and in California modernism in general. With essays by Lauren Weiss Bricker and Sidney Williams and an interview with Donald Wexler. 4to (11.5" x 9.75"), photographic fold-over wrappers, 132 pages, b/w and color photographs, renderings, and diagrams throughout.
