Hardcover. Condizione: Fair. Hazel, Leman, A. Mellichamp, Roberta, Gpshaw, Lucille Farrell, etc. (illustratore). 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, tan paper covered boards half bound with suede leather to spine. Interior is spotted and soiled and shows quite a bit of wear to edges and corners. This is a handmade high school yearbook assembled by Ruth Frances Bryant that includes the Girls High School of Atlanta Georgia as well as El Paso high school. There are numerous color and black-and-white drawings by students and friends, newspaper clippings and photographs of family and friends. Numerous pages have autographs and notes from staff and friends as well. Roughly 20% of the book is used in the remaining pages are blank. One of the photographs is missing and there is another photo that is loose. The binding is showing pulling in several areas in it is possible that a page has been removed (this is at the location of the boat with a large moon painting on the page entitled Class Prophecy). One or two pages have small tears and some spotting and soiling is present. Many hours are spent trying to find family of Ruth Bryant but it appears she never had children. It appears she married George Samuel Edwards in Bibb county, GA, on Aug 25, 1918 but there is no real references to her after that.

Hardcover. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. This is a hand made high school year book assembled by Lucy Wendell Baker of Springfield, Illinois. She graduated from high school in 1922. Book size about 6 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches. Bound in tan paper over boards with a floral pattern cloth spine cover. One of those early Yearbooks where the publisher provided an outline of what to enter in the book and then the student filled-in the book in whatever manner they chose. This is an average example of the type with photos of the author & friends, various school programs, other printed material, hand written sports information, card from visit to a sideshow freak, and other material. I could say this is rare, but it is actually unique, one of a kind, as are all these old hand-made yearbooks. The five photos I have included with the listing just touch on the contents. A reference book for Women's Studies showing how the young girl of the 1920's was educated. This is one volume in a collection of some 65 of these old Yearbooks ranging from the late 1800's to the 1930's mostly from the Midwest which will be in my book seller catalog titled 'Women'. Hinges cracked and mended in several places; overall average wear. GOOD Language: eng Language: eng Language: eng. Signed by Author.
