He designed several houses in traditional rural architecture for the Dutch region of Het Gooi. - * Le Coultre, Wendingen 1918 - 1932, pages 166-169, variant '7-3/9 e' in book form. - This '7-part' set on the works of Frank Lloyd Wright was only published in English. It is a set of the regular 7-part softcover edition, bound together in the original publisher's binding. This binding was available separately, but it was also possible to obtain a hardcover copy from the publisher, for an additional fee and with the return of previously purchased individual issues. Approximately 650 copies of this hardcover edition, in this binding variant, were published. The binding and title page were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. There is also a version in an unprinted white cloth binding with a title shield, of which approximately 3000 copies were made (including 140 copies for the American publisher Koch). - The editing and typographical editing was done by H. Th. Wijdeveld. He also provided the introductory text. It contains 13 articles (11 in English, 1 in French & 1 in German) by notable European and American writers / architects: H.Th. Wijdeveld, F.L. Wright, L. Mumford, H.P. Berlage, J.J.P. Oud, R. Mallet Stevens, E. Mendelsohn and L.J. Published by the Amsterdam society for artists and architects Architectura et Amicitia on the initiative and under supervision of the Dutch Architect Hendricus Theodorus Wijdeveld. It served as the organ of the Amsterdam artists' association Architectura et Amicitia and was the primary voice of the Amsterdam School (expressionist architecture). Wendingen's goal was to enhance the aesthetic quality of architecture and to be a source of inspiration for the members of A et A, as well as for subscribers from throughout the Netherlands and abroad. A total of 116 issues were published, with a circulation of 650 to 1300 copies per issue. The first eight years, up to 1925, Wijdeveld was the only editor and designer of the magazine. He played a key role in the content, design, and typography. The covers are printed in woodcut, lithography (partly offset) and designed by a large range of artists. The content of Wendingen was not limited to architecture; it also featured visual and applied arts. The magazine, printed by, among others, the specialized printing house 'Volharding' in Amsterdam, became renowned for its artistic quality (content and design) and its distinctive square format.
