The essays compiled herein represent the pioneering medical work performed by Dr. Addison at Guy's Hospital and include critical studies on adrenal disease (Addison's disease), anemia, tuberculosis and his famous work on the suprarenal capsules. No previous ownership marks, no book-plate. A clean, square, fresh and unmarked copy, like new.
