Het tweede deel bevat de tentoonstellingscatalogus met gedetailleerde beschrijvingen van de getoonde voorwerpen, waarbij dezelfde thema's aan bod komen in een licht gewijzigde volgorde. Na elke objectbeschrijving is er een bibliografie die verwijst naar eerdere publicaties en achtergrondliteratuur over de objectsoort.
