The case of the book is in very good condition with some shelf wear and light soiling on the boards and the spine ends are bumped. The contents are tight and clean with foxing to the free endpapers and a little scattered light foxing elsewhere within the book. A very brief note has been written on the top edge of page 99 and three verses from the poem 'Little Things' on pages 99 and 100 have blue brackets drawn beside them. There is an inscription on the top edge of the title page by James Wilfred Cryer that reads: "Mr Barron[?] with every good wish J.W.C. 20/6/24[?]". INSCRIBED and initialled by th.
