This book is loaded with illustrations, graphs and charts, many of them extended pull-outs. Most are in excellent shape, although I note two that are intact but detached, and some have rough edges. The binding is sound but worn in appearance. A clear archival Mylar cover now protects it. This enormous book weighs 5 pounds 10 ounces. There are 524 pages of text, which include 361 illustrations, followed by a large number of pull-outs. At the back is an extensive index. There is a water stain affecting the index at the inside top corner, but not the pull-outs or the text. Library markings are not extensive, but do include a lacy embossed imprint of the library's name on the pull-outs, probably to deter theft. The effect is not obtrusive.
