Aggiungi al carrelloPaperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. Sam loved animals big and small. Animals and farm life led him to think about how humans and animals communicate with each other. His four animal stories give you a fictional take on these relationships. He also had a favorite mule on his father's farm and liked to think the mule was as strong as a horse. His race story is about a mule struggling to compete in a race meant only for horses. As you know, farmers sometimes hire strong men to help with the heavy farm work and Old Josh is just such a guy. One story tells what bad things happen when Josh leaves the farm to go to work somewhere else. Another tells of what awful thing happens to Josh when he gets stuck outside in freezing weather. Sam also loved Indian stories and wrote one about a little boy dreaming about Indians. We hope you will also look for Sam's recently published Indian novel titled, The Battle at Two Springs. He often loved to reflect on the rural country life. He used this background as a setting to write a twisty tale about a widow and her two beautiful daughters living on a farm. He named the novel "Mama and the Well Driller", but we think our title "How Dangerously Deep is Your Love?" sounds like a more daring and mysterious endeavor. On the back cover, we include a photograph of Sam and Claudia Ogden at their 50th wedding anniversary on October 18, 1986.
