Unpaginated, perhaps one hundred pages, stipple-drawn plates, figures, and varied head-pieces in black & red. Red 8 x 5 inch clothbacked decorated boards, these bumped, with some card showing, and a bit faded. A no-longer-very funny-book in not-quite-collectable condition; bons mots from the bible to Burns. The compiler and title are named on verso of title --recto insists the compiler is simply "purloiner" and "ex-widow," the artist "a victim," and publisher Elder (it is his snug little binding design and Tomoye printery that here establish the book as almost-collectable) is "an immune".
