The book is in Very Good- condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some light bumping and rubbing. The top edge of the front cover shows some lightish rippling and there is a patch of rubbing and paper loss to the rear cover. The text pages are generally clean and bright, though there is some light rippling to the top and bottom edges of the pages. "For 19 ½ years Delores had suffered with an incurable illness. Pseudoarthrosis prevented her bones from absorbing the necessary ingredients to keep them from becoming dry and brittle. Delore's bones were crumbling.
