Born in Peru Andrés Marroquin-Winkelmann studied photography at the FAS, Fotografie am Schiffbaudamm, and the Ostkreuzschule for Photography and Design in Berlin. Marroquin-Winkelmann has taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions, including the 6th Berlin Kunstsalon, F-Stop Festival in Leipzig, the Italian Photofestival of Savignano, Arroniz Contemporaneo in Mexico, the Kunst.Licht Gallery in Shanghai, 980 Galeria in Colombia and others. He has been working as a freelancer in Peru and Berlin and is the cofounder of the publishing project "Meier und Müller," specializing in artists books. Text in English and German.
