Hans Glauber (San Candido 1933 - Bolzano 2008), noto come sociologo, ecologista e alpinista, tra la metà degli anni Sessanta e la metà dei Settanta svolse un'intensa attività come fotografo esponendo le sue opere in diverse istituzioni di prestigio. Numerose le mostre personali: dal Gewerbemusem di Zurigo nel 1965, alla Galerie nächst St. Stephan di Vienna (1969), dal Museo de Bellas Artes di Santiago del Cile alla Kunsthalle di Basel (1973) fino al Joanneum di Graz nel 1974. Autori di rilievo si confrontarono con la sua opera e scrissero di lui - tra di essi Theodor W. Adorno, Umberto Eco, Siegfried Giedion e Peter Gorsen. Glauber sottopone queste fotografie a un complesso processo di solarizzazione, riconversione e collage.
