Hinges cracked. Binding loose. Front right blank endpaper with inscription in ink is loose. Pages 20-29 have old tape in-between pages as well as pages39-49. Rest of the pages are fine and clean. Its just those pages with the old tape on them. They were taped years ago when the pages started to come loose from the binding. At least all the pages are indeed present! Pages 23/24 and 25/26 are loose from the binding, as are pages 39-42. Page 23/24 and 25/26 is crinkly and has some paper loss but does NOT affect the story or illustrations which is good! But like I said rest of pages are in good- condition, Its not a perfect copy but it is still a very rare and highly collectible book!!! Original color cover is in very good condition, with bright colors and just a little rubbing. Rare to find these books with intact spines, but this one is unchipped and relatively solid, with a little fading. Page 1-2 (containing the listing of other titles, before the actual title page) is missing, and the first 8 pages or so are loose, just barely attached. All story text pages are included and are in reasonably good shape, but a few have tears at the edges. A 1907 inscription on the front endpaper.
