Edges and tips very modestly rubbed. Inside front hinge just starting, but holding nicely. Three pencil notations to EPs. Text is unmarked. Firmly bound.

Issued in two parts, for some reason paginated separately. Foldout map as frontis plus a number of full page woodcut engravings including two foldouts (of Cincin…nati and of St. Louis). This was originally issued in three quarters leather with marbled paper covered boards and marbled edges, but this copy lacks the rear board and the outer portion of the spine; the front joint is broken and the board remains attached by the inner paste-down. The contents are quite clean, an excellent candidate for re-binding.
