Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked. ~T~ This book is about a Southern California Indian family who lived on the Santa Ysabel Reservation in San Diego County during the mid-1930s. Most of the characters are based on persons the author has met while teaching school on a reservation. Ramona La Cappa and Pablo Osuna were authentic persons whose names are recorded in California History. ~T~.
