Fleet St. March 24, 1824.… Folded for integral mailing, addressed on blank panel to Thomas Clark, Esq. Birmingham. Hole and stain where wax seal was removed with loss of a few letters of written text. Written contents begin: "I forward you a prospectus of a new undertaking; and request your kind assistance in behalf of the paper when it shall appear." The integral leaf contains a one page printed prospectus "New Daily Evening Newspaper, to be entitled 'The Nation'".
