Hardcover. Condizione: In quite good condition. Oversize hardback 120 pages The first 50 pages were written by Morris, describing his adventures with photography, leading to the many books he has published. The second section is a portfolio of 61 black-and-white, large-format photographs, mostly of older buildings, many of them abandoned. Some photos also show details, like a barber pole rising from a sidewalk or a single man's desktop clutter. They were taken between 1938 and 1950, mainly of a rural way of life that is long-since gone. Dust jacket has light wear, two half-inch tears (repaired) and a sun-faded spine and top. Other than a previous owner's embossed stamp (nearly invisible, since it has no ink or color), the book itself is in fine condition: clean & crisp with no marks, tears, or bent pages; tight binding with no turned corners.
