En la segunda edición de esta obra se han completado temas importantes sobre las complicaciones neurológicas de la anestesia regional, escritas por autores con experiencia sobre el tema. También se han establecido recomendaciones generales y específicas para evitar su producción. Este libro está dirigido a establecer estrategias preventivas contra su aparición. La reunión y el análisis conjunto de esta información dispersa, favorecerá, a nuestro modo de ver, una lectura correcta de las conductas orientadas a prevenir tales complicaciones. Para la confección de la obra, los autores han preocupado en reunir una bibliografía dispersa en múltiples publicaciones periódicas y/o en libros y tratados modernos sobre la especialidad.
