Particular strengths are the bronze vessels, musical instruments and ritual objects ranging from the Shang to the Han, a selection of Tang painted murals and also a magnificent group of gilt silver vessels of the Tang. Most objects in the collection have been recovered during archaeological exploration of Xi'an and surrounding areas. Text in Chinese and English.
