Trade Paperback. Condizione: Fine. First Edition. 319 Pages. An As New book signed by the author on the title page. Interior text pages are flawless. A tale within a tale that explores the depth of the Celtic imagination. The work reconstructs Irish and Scots fireside tales in a contemporary venue. The author was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1962 and grew up in rural Corrales. He earned a Bachelors degree from the University of New Mexico in the history of the Celtic periphery 1500-1745 and a Masters degree in Archaeological Survey from the University of Durham, UK with field studies in western Argyle and the Hebrides. During his sojourn in education, Young earned an in-depth knowledge of the Irish language, Irish/Scots fireside tales and Celtic myth. His lust for oral tradition enabled him to listen to many stories at the short end of a pint while in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The idea of the story line was based on his personal experiences while traveling in Scotland and Ireland. He lives in a small village of Yrisarri in the Manzano Mountains of New Mexico with his wife and daughter. He is the State Archaeologist for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish. Signed by Author(s).
