Very good condition. The original pictorial wrappers are complete and sound, showing moderate, even age toning and light surface soiling typical of mid-1970s paper stock. The spine remains intact and fully legible, with mild rubbing and gentle softening at the extremities but no splitting or losses. Corners are lightly rounded, and there is some general handling wear, but the cover image remains clear and visually strong. Overall wear is honest and consistent with careful use. A foundational work of post-Stonewall gay liberation literature, presenting firsthand accounts and essays addressing identity, work, relationships, aging, law, health, and community formation. Features the iconic cover photograph by Duane Michals. Internally clean and complete, with firm binding and uniformly toned pages free of markings. An important and increasingly scarce title in early LGBTQ history and queer studies.
