Volume 1 has extracts from N2-24 with cover page (some from Aramco), Vol 2 an uninterrupted run of N1-9 with original upper wraps, individually numbered with many b/w illustrations. Covers very good…with scuffing to edges of Vol 2, interiors fine. The Indian naturalist MA Badshah founded the Saudi Arabian Natural History Society during his Hajj with Faisal's blessing in March 1971. It aimed to raise awareness, publish research through the Journal, assist conservation, raise funds for research, events and expeditions, and meet regularly. The Journal (initially the "Saudi Arabian Natural History Society Report") launched in July 1971, becoming increasingly ad hoc, and SANHS appears to have ceased around 1992 (Worldcat).
