The dust jacket has a fair amont of edge wear, particularly on the top edge with small chips and tears. The finish of the dust jacket is also rubbed or scuffed and a bit darkened as a result. The hard covers are a bit dust-dulled but clean and only very slightly bumped. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages are clean and bright, albeit a bit toned although I think that, given the rather uniform tone, it is the result of using inferior paper that was available during the Second World War. Both endpapers show darkening, the result of the acid of the binding glues. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainderl.…
