Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. Bilingual Czech-German photographic tribute to the historic Kladruber horse and the National Stud at Kladruby nad Labem. Photographer and equestrian author Norbert Záliš documents the life, atmosphere and traditions of one of Europe's most historic stud farms. The photographs, taken between 1997 and 2002, portray the Kladruber horses, their handlers, training, the stud environment and the ceremonial culture surrounding this ancient breed. Rather than functioning only as a technical horse-breeding publication, the book is conceived as an atmospheric visual homage to the nobility and beauty of the Kladruber horse. Parallel Czech and German texts. Includes material relating to the staff of the Kladruby nad Labem and Slatiňany stud farms. Kladruby nad Labem / Prague, 2002.
