Interessante trattato, ancora oggi assai ricercato nella sua edizione originale, a opera del medico condotto perugino Zeno Zanetti… (1859-1928) docente presso l'ateneo della città di Perugiae allievo di Paolo Mantegazza (1831-1910) il quale in quest'opera aggiunge La Psicologia delle Superstizioni. L'autore era stato medico condotto nelle zone rurali di campagna e per il suo studio raccolse una grande mole di preziosissimo materiale sulla medicina praticata dal popolo, insieme di antiche tradizioni, pseudo medicina e credenze stregonesche per guarire ogni tipo di malanno.
