First, it relates the author's climb - with Jon Krakauer and Thomas Davies - of the Moose's Tooth, the second ascent of the main summit & by a new route (which has become the standard route). Second, the last page is a copy of Galen Rowell's response to the author's questionnaire he sent out as part of his thesis. In answer to the question "What do you personally feel is the value of teaching climbing?", Rowell responded "Money.".
