Each etching signed by both Farkas & Poharnok. This is the English version (similar to the French version). No publication info, believed to be George Vajna & Cie., Budapest. A small title/author etching is pasted to the front board-marked with brown marks where cellophane tape once secured it,

Condizione: 0. Wohl nur in kleinster Auflage hergestellte erste u. einzige deutsche Ausgabe, von der für mich weltweit kein weiteres Exemplar nachweisbar ist (u.a. über den KVK). Neben der ungarischen Ausgabe (Tihanyi echo, balatoni kecskeköröm mese) existieren auch Übersetzungen ins Französische und Englische. Für die vorliegende Ausgabe wurden zumindest die beiden Vignetten sowie die sechs Radierungen mit dem deutschen Text neu gestochen. Fünf der naiven, aber doch sehr modern anmutenden Radierungen verso mit dem Stempel von Zoltán Pohŕrnok (1905-1976). - Einband u. vereinzelt die Untersatzkartons etw. stockfleckig. ge Gewicht in Gramm: 500 8° (20 x 16,4 cm). The etchings are printed by hand-press and are hand-colored. Small damp-stain on the upper corner of the binding, otherwise a fine copy of this exquisite and quite rare book, printed in Hungary.

Condizione: In near fine condition. 19,5x14 and 14x16 cm. He was a student of Oszkár Glatz at the Academy of Fine Arts. He went on a study trip with Miklós Borsos in Italy and France. He settled in Budapest in 1929. He was a member of the Szinye Society, exhibited in the National Salon and the Ernst Museum. He emigrated to the USA in 1947 and then settled in Spain.
