The unclipped dust wrapper is in similar condition. The author was called up in 1945 a week before VE day. He served in Hanover attended Mons Basic OCTU in Aldershot and Royal Signals OCTU. Commissioned in the Royal Signals he served in 3 AA Group in Edinburgh. This hilarious memoir of service life in the immediate post war years will be a revelation to many and met with coruscating approval by all. Ref V2.
