14x12" book with portfolio of prints and box. Book is quarter calf leather and sailcloth, and is printed by Herzig Somerville on Carlyle Japan Antique paper. Endpapers are marbled. Box is 17x15" black walnut with black cameo of Carr inset onto lid. Portfolio contains six 16x14" reproductions on Stonehenge paper also by Herzig Somerville. Portfolio has light wear to corners. A wonderfully clean copy. A must for any Canadian art collector. Considered the authoritative work on the artist, this limited edition contains 177 beautiful B&W and colour tipped in reproductions as well as extensive reference notes and a bibliography. The portfolio contains an additional six charcoal reproductions created by Carr between 1929 and 1931. This is number 66 of 250 limited copies, signed by Shadbolt on the limitation page.
