These chronicles reprinted and published by descendants of the famous hosts and hostesses at 'Eleutherian Mills'. The notes describe the meaning of many of the entries, including historical and genealogical information on prominent guests. Tancopanican is a native American word which means, in part, 'on the river bank. ' Very good condition but for edges of some ribbons slightly frayed. Box is broken.
