Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. Amazon Back-of-Book DescriptionAstrid was once a cleric of the Earth-until her magic stopped listening.Exiled after a healing spell turns dangerous, Astrid is left with power that surges instead of obeys, answers instead of heals. Cut off from her temple and her god, she sets out in search of control-and the ancient dragon rumored to judge those who dare approach it.At her side walks Thorne, a half-giant guardian sworn to protection and restraint. Quiet, formidable, and patient to a fault, he is the one place Astrid's magic does not fracture. But proximity carries its own risk. Desire sharpens. Boundaries tighten. And every step Astrid takes leaves consequences written into the land itself. To master her power, Astrid must face a truth no blessing can erase: control cannot be forced, restraint cannot be hollow, and power that listens will demand honesty in return. The trial beneath the mountain is not a test of strength-but of what she is willing to refuse.A slow-burn fantasy romance filled with tension, consent, and deliberate restraint, Daughter of Earth and Fire is the first book in an epic series where power is negotiated, intimacy is earned, and love is not denied-but chosen. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…

Aggiungi al carrelloGest. Frontispiz mit Porträt Heisters, 38 gefaltete Kupfertafeln (Tafel 33 als Kopie!), (7 Bl.), 1078 S., (12 Bl. Register). Sonst in sehr schöner Erhaltung. DBE IV, 552; NDB VIII, 458/9; Hirsch/H. III, 140/1. - Lorenz Heister, geb. Sprache: Deutsch.…

Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. Six years ago, Aerik Skael left the kingdom to get away from his father. Now his father is dead - and considerably more talkative about it.Summoned home for the funeral, Aerik finds a sovereign machine buried beneath the palace still running his father's mind: dry, imperious, eight centimeters tall, and absolutely certain his own brother murdered him. There's just one problem. The dead king edits his own memory. He is the victim, the only witness, and a confessed liar - all at once. With a lawyer who trusts nothing, an ex who trusts him least of all, and an uncle whose crime keeps looking more like mercy the closer Aerik gets, every answer costs something. And the deeper Aerik digs, the clearer it becomes that his father wasn't only hiding a murder. He was hiding a plan. One with Aerik's name on it.The Dead King's Son is Book One of the Dead King Protocol. This item is printed on demand.
