Prima edizione di questa dettagliata relazione di viaggio nelle Alpi Lepontine, artisticamente illustrata. L'autore, ottimo artista di origini savoiarde (Chambery 1753-1811), fu ufficiale di Carlo Emanuele IV, e pubblicò oltre alla presente, altre tre opere analoghe, sulle alpi Cozie, Graie e Marittime. Bellissimo esemplare su carta grande (con qualche lieve fioritura nei margini). Perret 333: «Primière édition. Bel album, très rare et très recherché pour la qualité des illustrations».
