I intend to critique what I have described, with a modicum of poetic l…icence, as the father of the postmodern evil Demon known as patriarchy by turning on its head, an op-ed by Cardinal Wilfrid Napier entitled 'Patriarchy is not the source of all evil' which got my scribal juices flowing. I explore the origins of patriarchy going back to about four millennia ago in Mesopotamia in the Ancient Near East and show that patriarchy in both religion and society is the source of the post-modern evils of domination, colonisation, and othering others, suppressing and dehumanising them, especially if these others are women, simply because men can pee while standing. This has been the case since at least four millennia ago if not earlier. Patriarchy is not limited to domination of women. In fact, it began at the time of the shift from homo sapiens being hunter-gatherers to sedentary agriculturalists when gender roles begun to be defined. Men specialised in bringing home the bacon as warriors and bread winners while women focused on child rearing. Patriarchy is now so steeped in religion and society that men are unlikely to relinquish it any time soon because it is in the interests of the menfolk to perpetuate it. Soon after the elf-like President Frederick Chiluba came into power in a landslide election win in 1991, he was heard to remark to close aides, one of whom I know, 'Power is sweet.' I have employed two lenses to examine the evil of patriarchy: critical theory and ideology. I take cognizance of the phenomenon of patriarchy being so pernicious and widely accepted, even revered ideology that it needs to be critiqued and debunked.

His plea to the Rehoboth church, therefore, is for stronger teaching and preaching that emphasises the ethics of Christ's Kingdom, and how they touch all aspects of human relationships: from the workplace, to the neighbourhood, to the family home.

Ziele der Planwirtschaft der DDR waren die gerechte Verteilung von Reichtum und stabile Marktpreise. Des weiteren ist eine Planwirtschaft in der Marxistischen Theorie effizienter als eine Marktwirtschaft, da durch die zentrale Planung ein gezielterer Kapitaleinsatz möglich ist, beispielsweise durch die Vermeidung von Überproduktion. Zudem werden mehrfache Entwicklungen weitestgehend gleicher Produkte und parallele Forschungen an identischen Fragestellungen durch verschiedene Unternehmen verhindert. Das dadurch zusätzlich verfügbare Kapital kann an anderer Stelle gewinnbringend eingesetzt werden.Jedoch waren sozialistische Staaten ärmer und weniger fortschrittlich als westliche Volkswirtschaften, die Menschen verdienten weniger, arbeiteten mehr und lebten kürzer. Die Außenhandelsbilanz der DDR war negativ, die Häuser baufällig und die Industrie veraltet und ineffizient. Diese Ineffizienz resultierte vor allem aus der Missachtung des Rentabilitätsprinzips, resultierenden Kapitalfehlleitungen, dem sperrigen Wirtschaftsplanungsvorgang und den zentral gesteuerten, festen Preisen.Diese und weitere Gründe für das Scheitern der Planwirtschaft in der DDR werden in der Arbeit eingehend beleuchtet.

Furthermore the histological changes in the pancreas of rats were analysed with the introduction of cell cultures obtained from different sources against experimental diabetes and studied the changes in the blood glucose of experimental animals with the transplantation of cellular material.Despite the shortcomings of the modern methods of treating animals with type I diabetes using insulin therapy, as well as the fact that pancreatic beta-cell death is one of the important elements in the diabetes pathogenesis, new approaches to the treatment of this disease using cell technologies are being studied. Recent studies of beta-cells in the in vitro system have shown that they have a fairly high regenerative capacity, but in the in vivo system with diabetes, these cells almost do not recover. The development of methods that can activate beta-cell regeneration is an important area of the scientific research.To date, mainly red bone marrow is used as the source of stem cells for research, because this is the only tissue of the adult body that normally contains immature, undifferentiated and low-differentiated cells. However, adipose tissue is being increasingly used as an alternative source for stem cells, from which they can be isolated in significantly larger quantities using less invasive methods compared to using red bone marrow. It is worth noting that there are still a lot of unclear issues in the study of the pancreas regeneration ways, therefore, in the treatment of patients with diabetes, the direction of the use of cell culture obtained from the pancreas is especially relevant. Given the above, the aim of our study was to study the effect of cell cultures obtained from adipose tissue, bone marrow, and pancreas on the course of experimentally formed insulin-dependent type I diabetes in rats with the aim of developing scientifically based and effective cell therapy methods in veterinary medicine.

It is a new form of sexual harassment, which is emerging as a public health issue with various health consequences, including mental and emotional health effects. The main objective of the research study was to determine the prevalence of online sexual harassment among young women students (15 to 24 years age group) in Kathmandu District, Nepal.Materials and Methods: A total of 382 young women students of 15 to 24 years age groups from different colleges and (or) universities representing (+2) levels and bachelor levels in equal proportion have participated in this quantitative type of cross-sectional study. A structured questionnaire in both Nepali and English language was designed for a self-administered kind of data collection and composed in six different sections.Result: About 66.5% of respondents reported exposure to online sexual harassment at least once in their lifetime, and most of the respondents (73.2%) were exposed to online sexual harassment multiple times (more than once or twice). About two-thirds (62.8%) of the respondents, among before the age of 18 years, were also exposed to online sexual harassment. The mean age group of online sexual harassment experienced was 18.94±1.79 years. The respondents studying (+2) Level from an urban area, and those who accept an unknown friend request on social media (P=0.000, P=0.011, and P=0.013<0.05 respectively) were more likely to experience frequent online sexual harassment. About 2% of respondents have experienced a high degree of online sexual harassment.Conclusion: The high prevalence rate of online sexual harassment has been detected. Along with the development of new technologies in the virtual communities, young women students of Kathmandu District are becoming more vulnerable, which can unexpectedly common in other places in Nepal. It shows the government needs to develop an effective policy and regulations against online sexual harassment urgently. A new module of Comprehensive Sexuality Education in virtual communities is necessary for an academic setting and would be a useful tool to minimize online sexual harassment.

Entre los métodos investigativos aplicados en este trabajo se encuentran el histórico-lógico y el analítico-sintético, como métodos teóricos, así como el análisis de documentos, como método empírico. Los principales resultados obtenidos se traducen en la valoración del concepto de socialización y los nuevos modos de actuación de las familias y el contexto educativo, predominantemente en función de optimizar la socialización en los niños con autismo, toda vez que la realidad distante y, por ende, todo contacto social para ello se encuentra limitado ante la catástrofe epidemiológica que ha azotado a todos los seres humanos, sin distinción de circunstancias.

Talking a closer look, 'Point Counter Point' reveals Huxley¿s belief in a deeper ¿truth¿ that remains mysterious in its contingent existence of absence and presence. In connection with Huxley¿s understanding of ¿God¿, which he lays down mainly in his book The Perennial Philosophy (1945), Huxley¿s representation of evilness alias Spandrell is going to be analysed in this paper.8 There are other characters in Point Counter Point concerned with the question of God, for example, Marjorie Carling.9 However, the focus will be on Spandrell as the contemplations about good and evil concentrate around his character. Spandrell constantly tries to explain God¿s absence and make his presence felt but he is disappointed again and again. In this way, he embodies the focal point of the ¿problem of evil¿ in Point Counter Point. The root of evil, in Spandrell¿s case, can be found in his ¿individual¿ psychology. With the help of Spandrell, Huxley reflects on the origin of evil, in particular, on how evilness can develop in a person¿s life.

Biosorption process of Vigna radiata for removal of heavy metals followed pseudo 2nd order kinetics. Thermodynamic parameters of adsorption process indicated the feasibility and spontaneity of adsorption process. Desorption of Vigna radiata biomass was also done using HCl solution as eluting agent and adsorption potential of recycled adsorbent was also studied.

We have introduced the impact factor and classified impact factor to resolve the conflict situation. We have used data mining technique in facilitating the decision support with improved performance over its existing companion. We have also addressed the unique problem which have not been addressed before. Definitely, the fusion of data mining and decision support can contribute to problem-solving by enabling the vast hidden knowledge from data and knowledge received from experts.We have discussed a lot of work done in the field of decision support and hierarchical multi-attribute decision models. Ample amount of algorithms are available which are used to classify the data in datasets. Most algorithms use the concept of information gain for classification purpose. Some Lacking areas also exist. There is a need for an ideal algorithm for large datasets. There is a need for handling the missing values. There is a need for removing attribute bias towards choosing a random class when a conflict occurs. There is a need for decision support model which takes the advantages of hierarchical multi-attribute classification algorithms.

Daher wurden Studien durchgeführt um zu erkennen, ob ein Zusammenhang zwischen den genannten Krankheitsbildern bzw. Verhaltensmustern und dem sozialen Status besteht.Durch Forschungen wurde bewiesen, dass die genannten Krankheitsbilder und Verhaltensmuster häufiger in sozial schwachen Familien auftreten als in Familien mit einem durchschnittlichen oder hohen Einkommen. Das RKI befasst sich schon lange mit dem Zusammenhang von sozialer Ungleichheit und Gesundheit.
