Chipping at crown and foot of much sunned spine.

Publication date is before 1904. Gift inscription on front endpaper dated Dec 25 1904 from Uncle Fabian. No other marks or stamps. Blue cloth with paste-on half cover color illustration and gold embossed lettering and decoration. The paste-on illustration is a bit ragged on the outside edges and the spine area top and bottom shows some wear. Reasonably tight book with signature stitched binding. Interior pages have just a hint of barely perceptible age-tanning and otherwise are faultless. No marks. The little lame prince was dropped on the way to his christening and became crippled. After the death of his parents the uncle takes over the crown and sends the boy to live in a tower without doors. After the uncle dies, and with the aid of his Godmother, the little prince overcomes the handicap of being unable to walk and returns to his rightful place in the kiingdom.
