All the six independent variables were determinants of learner enrollment and accounted for 63.7% of the variability of learner enrollment. There was excess income above expenditure implying that schools collected more money than they actually needed for their operations. Hence the need to reduce fees by cutting down on unnecessary costs such as expenditure on supplementary services.

The aim of this study is to investigate the potential use of GIS as a strategic tool for oil and gas industry for controlling pipeline vandalization in the oil communities of Jesse, Ekakpamre, and Oviri in delta state of Nigeria with objectives set to support the aim of study. GIS techniques were used and it abilities were demonstrated in controlling petroleum pipeline vandalism using ArcGIS 10.2 software. The analysis used includes hotspot analysis, kernel density analysis and proximity analysis, and hyper link to show the photographs of the vandalism incidents. 116 pp. Englisch.

Consequently, a rise has been observed in the neuropsychiatric manifestations of HIV. Clinicians now face the challenge of managing HIV and mental illness (MI) comorbidity, requiring integration between mental health and general medical care. This study aimed to evaluate the inpatient management of HIV-MI comorbidity in a psychiatric unit. METHODS: A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted. Records of patients admitted to the unit with a diagnosis of HIV-MI comorbidity from June 2011 to June 2012 were retrieved and analysed. RESULTS: The management of psychiatric disorders was excellent for all patients. However challenges were observed in HIV management.Generally, the coordination of care between psychiatrists and other disciplines was insufficient. CONCLUSION: There is a fragmentation of care for patients with HIV-MI comorbidity. An integrated management approach need to be implemented 72 pp. Englisch.

The dramatic improvement of knowledge (the effectiveness showed a rise of more than 42%) provides an interesting information for both researchers and teachers about a concrete methodology of teaching. The use of cognitive maps allowed instructors to focus their teaching on weak points and to have a measure of learning effectiveness. I have also developed an intelligent system for real time energy management of the energy produced by wind power stations. Concerning the performance increase in the area of photovoltaic systems for electricity production I worked for the photovoltaic systems modeling and the development of the control algorithms of fophotovoltaic systems with data acquisition and control board CompactRIO 9074. In this area I have developed control algorithms in the programming LabVIEW environment for tracking the maximum power transfer point (MPPT) between photovoltaic panels and batteries used to store electricity. 72 pp. Englisch.
