The study of comparisons indicated that the most frequently used logo colour for both UK and Japan companies was blue, followed by white, red and black, whereas the least frequently used colour was brown. Red and black were more frequently used for logos in Japan than in the UK, white was more frequently used in the UK than in Japan. The psychophysical experiments provided an evidence that logo colour was strongly associated with industrial sector and with semantic meaning. Furthermore, new guidelines for logo colour design were developed to consider the relationships between colour, semantic meaning and industrial sector.

Quantitative anal…ysis using chi-square test, odds ratio and 95% confidence interval were used to describe associations between variables from the sample gathered using the snow ball technique. A major high risk profile for HIV/AIDS among Myanmar migrants emerged within the study, the undereducated 25-29 year old blue collar worker with moderate knowledge of HIV/AIDS. Associations between socio-demographic factors, HIV/AIDS knowledge and the risk behaviors: visiting sex workers, alcohol consumption and drug use were analyzed and presented in this particular study. Based on the risk behaviors studied, the author recommends behavior change intervention in the form of increased access to health education among migrants and that further reaffirmation of this study s findings be conducted through a broader longitudinal study on sexual attitudes and behavior of migrants. 80 pp. Englisch.

A systematic review was undertaken to ac…curately summarise the change in risk of ovarian cancer with different activity levels. This interim report presents the conceptual issues central to the above study along with a narrative analysis on the trials included in the review. A rigorous procedure was implemented to locate and appraise relevant literature. Selection criteria were applied to the studies located and data was extracted from the eligible studies. 17 papers representing a total of 14 different observational studies met the selection criteria and were included in the review. Overall, more case-control studies than cohorts demonstrated a statistically significant inverse relationship between physical activity and ovarian cancer and seven studies found a significant dose- response. The limited data available are indicative of an inverse association between physical activity and ovarian cancer risk. 92 pp. Englisch.

In this context, this study examines a puzzle: though the rights of legally resident third country nationals have expanded considerably, those of the illegal immigrants and asylum seekers have diminished. It highlights the role played by the securitization process in explaining such puzzle. Thus, this work includes an extensive research on the common European immigration policy with emphasize on the rights of the aforementioned groups as well as the theoretical discussions on securitization.
