This issue reprints a letter to Potocki by Aldous Huxley, the letters is headed "Publishers Will Be Shy" and has Huxley's thought on a manuscript of Potocki's - "I think you might have a fuller amd more elaborate description of the Vallombrosa garden and of your mother: this wd serve to emphasize the difference between the paradisal beginning of the story and its hellish continuation.".

In 1932 he was "arrested after attempting to publish a manuscript of erotic translations of works by Rabelais and Verlaine,…with three short bawdy verses of his own. The charge was 'obscene libel'. he was sentenced to six months in prison. Aldous Huxley. later funded the purchase of Potock's first printing press." [per Wikipedia].
