Then, procedure of analysis is proposed to determine the illocutionary force of each utterance. This procedure has been applied on the data taken from the Shakespearean tragedy Julius Caesar with five of its Arabic rendering in order to compare their illocutionary forces with those of the source Language text. The study concludes that There is a common misconception concerning the concept of exclamation in Arabic in that most researchers keep in their mind that exclamation corresponds to (wonder) in Arabic.
