The preva…lence of astro-viruses in the world varies from 2 to 16% (Hamkar et al, 2010) and the parasitic prevalence remains high in most poor countries. In January 2016 to January 2018, we conducted a retrospective cross-sectional study in the city of Kolwezi at HGR MWANGEJI to define the prevalence and management of gastroenteritis and identify risk factors to prevent this health problem in Kolwezi. During this study, we identified a prevalence of 123 cases of febrile enteritis. The male sex 70 cases is more represented than the female sex. The Kamanyola district is the largest provider of cases of febrile enteritis with 32.52%. The fact that a child is born prematurely and the low birth weight (2,500 grams) has been recognized as a risk factor for diarrhoea-related mortality. 60 pp. Englisch.

A field follow-up was made with the Inajá producers, collecting the necessary statistical information to evaluate the productive and economic potential of the Mocajuba region, a method nicknamed Caboclo Inventory. Among the evidences, the study points out that the production of Inajá is elastically superior in relation to the other oilseed crops, indicating the guarantee of abundant supply of this raw material for the production of vegetable oil. Despite this productive potential, the study concludes that the economic potential does little to increase employment and a greater distribution of the income generated, reproducing the past models of local development that, in general terms, exclude rural producers from socioeconomic benefits. On the other hand, such projects leave only social and environmental problems in the region, indicating the absence of an alternative model to develop the region. 56 pp. Englisch.

The study was descriptive and cross-sectional and was applied to a population of 250 people, selecting 94 patients with a simple random sample, applying the SERVQUAL questionnaire, the results determined that the average age was 45 years, the maximum age was 64 years and the minimum age was 28 years. Sixty-two percent of the sample were women and 38% were men. The level of tangibility shows a low quality (43%), the level of reliability shows a modest quality (46%), the level of prompt response shows a modest quality (40%), the projection of security (44%) modest quality and the level of empathy (55%) modest quality, concluding that the quality in the attention is in 40% of satisfaction to the user. 56 pp. Englisch.

Material and methods: We conducted…a prospective cross-sectional study of 104 co-infected TB/HIV patients between August 1st, 2019 and February 29th, 2020 at SMIT in Donka. That is to say a duration of 7 months.Results: The 104 patients followed were mostly women (59.6%), married (66.3%) and with a mean age of 39.75 ± 12.44 years. In our study 80% of the patients had a CD4 count of less than 200 cells/mm3 and stage 4 was the most represented in our patients: 62.5% at the end of the study 45.2% were cured versus 29.8% died, 22.2% were lost to follow-up and 2.9% were abandoned; and the factors associated with death was age with a p-value of 0.033.Conclusion: TB/HIV remains a public health problem. Therefore, all TB patients should be tested for HIV and all PHAs should be tested for TB. 84 pp. Englisch.

The results of the mean values of the physical-chemical analyses were analyzed with the R program. There was a reduction in the fermentation time from 7 to 5 days, an increase in pH 5.19 and a decline in º Brix on the 5th day, greater availability for Phenolic Compounds 331.5 mg.AG.g-1 and Antioxidant Activity 148.5 µmol.Trolox.g, which allows us to conclude that the optimization performed obtained nibs with better biochemical availability than the conventional assay. 72 pp. Englisch.
