Pour appréhender son aspect foncièrement territorial, l'enquête nous emmène dans les Alpes au sein de trois conseils de parc et de réserves naturelles (Ecrins, Vercors et Haute-Savoie) pour plonger au sein du monde bureaucratique et professionnel de la gestion de la nature. Des problèmes extrêmement concrets lié à l'aménagement ou la concertation entre activités, la gestion d'espèces, chassées ou protégées, ou la préservation de patrimoines figurent aux ordres du jour. Les membres d'un conseil, une vingtaine, confrontent alors leurs traditions disciplinaires, leurs éthiques et représentations pour éclairer l'action et négocier des façons de protéger la biodiversité. L'enquête dépeint les rôles et places ambiguës de ces avis, qui fournissent aux gestionnaires des arguments scientifiquement fondés pour accepter, refuser ou modifier des aménagements. This book examines music as a site of anti-colonial resistance and decolonial praxis in schools.Grounded on the premise that education is a political act, the authors draw from creative forms and styles that problematize what decolonial scholars call the 'colonial matrix of power' in shaping the Latino subaltern experience. Using music as a political and aesthetic expression against empire, the authors argue that the study of Latinx musical forms offers students possibilities to critique and delink from coloniality in their everyday lives.Committed to decoloniality as a political, epistemological, and spiritual project, the authors are intent on creating spaces that value transcultural understanding and solidarity between and across subaltern peoples of the Global North and the Global South, with particular attention to Chicanas and Chicanos and Latinas and Latinos in the United States and other peoples in the hemisphere. Thus, intercultural communication and critical intercultural communication (CIC) has not yet fully experienced a transnational turn. Instead, by considering the ideas of nation-state, nationality, and citizenship through theoretical frameworks that are developed by non-U.S.-scholars and transnational scholars within U.S. academia, this book addresses the citationality politics present in the field.While past studies of critical intercultural communication have been international in scope, with researchers from international backgrounds, their visibility and voice have remained limited in CIC. To achieve transnational inclusivity with CIC, the authors of this book advocate for the use of critical and cultural multi-methods or fusion of them or incorporation of new hybrid methodologies to answer complex, multidimensional, intersectional, and transnational issues and represent those lives and stories.Collectively, the authors address different topics that help further conceptualize transnational critical intercultural communication. They all call attention to examining global cultural disparities, mediated transnationalities, and transnational oppressive cultural and political structures. Hence, the study investigates how the text of Jeremiah 28 can help amend the attitude of Christians in Abuja towards prophecy. The author employs the historical critical method of exegesis in the study of the text of Jeremiah 28. Then he uses the social survey method in fieldwork to collate data from Christians in Abuja. The study demonstrates that the phenomenon of misleading prophecy among Christians in Abuja is a deliberate action on the part of some Christian Ministers in Abuja who prey on the susceptibility of some Christians in Abuja due to their materialist-oriented Christianity.
