Riley, he was sent to Japan and in November 1950 fought a war of retreat through the Chosin Reservoir of North Korea being one of the few survivors. The author grew up fast and soon held positions of leadership in his three tours of Korea. This is a firsthand account of the activities that Company D encountered and experienced at the Chosin Reservoir Battle by the author and his comrades in arms.
